This page explains, in general terms, how PTYGrade handles information on the PTYGrade website and in the PTYGrade apps.

Preliminary version. This policy is under review before PTYGrade's commercial launch and may be updated before it takes effect.

About PTYGrade

PTYGrade is an independent analysis tool for trading card collectors. The PTYGrade website presents the product, its plans and its apps. Card analysis takes place in the installed PTYGrade apps, not on this website.

This website

The PTYGrade website provides information about PTYGrade, its plans, its apps and related services. Some website features may ask for information when you choose to use them; when a feature asks for personal information, PTYGrade explains what information is needed and how it is used.

If you choose a language with the language selector, the website saves that choice in a cookie so it can show the same language on your next visit. The website currently doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies.

As with any website, the servers that deliver these pages may process technical information needed to do so, such as your IP address and browser type.

The PTYGrade apps

The PTYGrade apps for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android may include features such as:

  • PTYGrade accounts
  • Card analysis
  • A library of saved analyses
  • Drafts and autosaves
  • Local storage for offline use
  • Cloud sync between devices
  • Device management according to your plan
  • Plans and subscriptions

What information is handled depends on the features you use. A feature may need related information, for example your account information, the card images you choose to analyze, the results of those analyses, or the information needed to manage the devices associated with your account.

Depending on the feature, information may be processed and stored locally on your device. When you use a feature that synchronizes information between devices, the information needed for that synchronization is handled for that purpose.

Payments and subscriptions

When you make a purchase or manage a subscription, information related to the transaction may be processed by the provider or channel through which the purchase is made, and that provider's own procedures and privacy practices may also apply.
